Sandtray Therapy

Sandtray therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses a sandtray and miniature objects to provide a space for clients to express themselves and gain insight into their thoughts and feelings. Clients can create scenes that represent their inner world. This non-verbal approach can be used with those who struggle to find the words to express what is happening inside of themselves. Externalization of one’s thoughts and feelings can lead to better understanding of their inner experience or process past traumas from a safe distance.
