Kerry Campbell
Psychotherapist
With over 14 years of experience in the field of mental wellness, my main focus has been helping individuals heal from trauma and grief. After receiving a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Catholic University of America, my clinical social work career started with working with children, adolescents, and families, including those experiencing developmental trauma or attachment issues. For the past nine years, I have been employed at the Wendt Center for Loss and Healing, a nationally recognized non-profit organization in Washington DC that specializes in grief and trauma. As a lifelong learner, I continue to seek out advanced trauma treatment modalities to better support my clients. I am a certified Level 3 Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist, as well as an EMDRIA certified therapist in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and trained and certified provider of Unyte Health’s Safe and Sound Protocol. I will use these integrative therapy approaches and innovative tools to address the underlying trauma that keeps you stuck in unhealthy patterns and behaviors. My work involves guiding you in understanding your internal system better, resulting in more harmony of the mind, body and heart. Together we can heal past wounds and help you find the inner peace that you have been seeking.
Outside the therapy room I enjoy traveling, exploring and learning about different cultures (especially the food), learning new languages, meditation/spirituality, crafting (aka anything involving a glue gun or modgepodge), photography, and baking.
If you’re interested in scheduling a consultation to see if we would be a good fit to work together, please submit the contact form or call to schedule a free 20 minute consultation.
